[ Hm... ]
[ Maybe I'm just phoning this one in? ]
[ Well... ]
[ Yeah, this'll work. This is viable. ]
[ Oh, crap... is today Wednesday already?? ]
[ Dammit. ]
[ I just remembered a thing. ]
[ Hmm? Oh, right... ]
[ So, this bipedal alien is biomechanically fitted with eyes like goggles, and a nice jet pack that is actually part of it. Perhaps the creature must eat a very high-carb diet to provide enough fuel for the jets? Or maybe it's mouth has become the insert point for a petrol pump? I dunno. I'm sure there are likely some other biomech features about this alien. ]

Sci-Fi Creature: GOGGLE-EYED HUMANOID HAS JET-PACK THAT GROWS OUT OF BACK
20-25 mins in ArtRage with a wacom graphire2
The Barawagwan Desert skimmers, a genetic experiment gone wrong. Fitted with turbine engines, and unable to close their mouths, these guys zoom through the Green cliffs, unable to open their eyes to the intense speed, and coming to their swift ends by crashing into rock, or running out of fuel, yet they continue coming, from god knows where.
45 mins on sketchbook pro...this one is out of fuel...
SWEEEET TOPIC! Okay, I finally had a day off to do nothing but doodle, and doodle I did. This species has developed a symbiotic relationship between their embryonic zygotes and types of randomly occuring nanobots that form as a byproduct of feul production. The result is an extremely feul-economic biomechanical propultion system that operates in oxygen poor, low pressure atmospheres...and really bad tempers.
This was fun. Not sure about the color scheme, especially the complimentary color thing going on with the goggles and the background. Comments please.
Genetically Engineered from slaves and criminals by Imperial Scientists, the Hive Thrals form a fearsome final ring of defense for the Imperial Throne Planet of T'nalp. Vast hives of degenerate biomechanical sub-human Hive-Thrals are allowed free reign over most of the planets surface. In peace, they tunnel in the planet's crust, collecting refined uranium within their bulging abdomens. When the imperial city is threatened by an enemy fleet, pheromone-filled rockets are launched high into the planets perpetual cloud cover, triggering all hives to simultaneously assault the intruders. In relentless kamikaze waves, the Hive Thrals plunge into enemy landing ships, triggering strings of nuclear detonation that can be seen from the ground, even through T'nalp's ink-black perpetually swirling clouds.

NKunleashed - Good one! I think that the "complimentary color thing" is the most succesful color in the pic. The area beneath his waist kinda falls apart, but nice work on the shiny metal pack.
digitalfly - Very cool creature! The background is so weak that it fights the foreground, and you cropped a bit too close to the ass, but whatever. The design of the humanoid is solid. Definitely my fave today. Post more.

Thank you, William.
I though that a background das not so matter and don't work with it.
