the strength of color in your pictures is astounding. i like the second one the best. the emotion is astounding, and the black and white sets a great ambiance. good stuff!

Sorry it took me so long to reply here - i have always just wanted to put more time into the reply and not leave a short one seeing as your pictures are so great. The colours and mood are great in all of them! Composition is nice and interesting! and i cant believe that no one posted in your other thread before. Your stuff is great. BTW i dont understand why everyone calls it a Canon 350 - i've always seen it as a Rebel XT. Is it called the 350 in Europe maybe? Do you modify your photos in PS to get the nice feel from the colours? If so, what do you do to them? Keep up the great stuff and show us some more!

Wow hey thanks to all of you guys for so much support, unfortunantly no photo sees outside eyes without the least bit of retouching.

I dont rely on ps for all of my color needs, sometimes i use custom setting inside my camera to provide all the enhancement. But when i do use photoshop there is always one thing i do every time to make sure the color of my pictures. I open up the curves tool which can be found in image>adjustments>curves. These curves control both saturation and contrast on the same line as well as several other tools such as brightness and color balance. but here is a look at some of the originals.(btw the smudge on the airplane picture is just stuff on the window becuase as you know airplane windows are increadibly dirty.

ShadeofDawrn- if you would like to see some more pictures just pop your head into my portfolio here:http://69.16.210.25/forums/showthread.php?t=51535

xvfinkvx- I use a canon rebel xt or (350) with a canon efs 17-85 mm lens i find it a great combination but a little weak on the sports side

mollyducker- thanks for the input ive seen your film shots too you have a very distinct style in your pictures(favorite is the one with the girl playing the instrument with a blurred hand, great stuff i love the composition) that i like keep it

Off topic but do you think i should make a new thread - a portfolio for myself? It would thus far contain all the photos that i have already posted, and when i put more up (if i can - my Photobucket is 98% full lol) i will update them in there, but when i add more i would also like to create a new thread for them so i wouldnt bump the old thread. Do you think this advisable or just attention getting?

(p.s. that was a question to anyone who reads it)

I have no clue how full my photo bucket is but i made a portfolio of all of what i thought were my best pictures for an intern job with a proffesional photographer and whenever i decide to update i just edit my previous post by clicking the edit button and i add the new IMG links, this prevents it from being bumped and i get to keep updating my old protfolio. But sure do it, its a great way to show case your best work. And since your images are so good i wouldnt think anyone would care if they saw a couple of them again.
