    sketches of People

I do alot of sketches of people. I find them facinating. I am no Vangou or De Vinche (yet) but im still young. Can i get some feed back? I still have alot to learn but i want to push myself to the edge =)

    sketches of People

This is my absolute favorite. Its called "phoenix" because of the tattoo. I did this one from a Photograph. Ive been told its unapropriate because of the no shirt but it was important to me to get the tattoo in.

    sketches of People

This one is "sheidan Lockheart". A buisness woman. As you can see I have trouble with backgrounds. its something I want to change but i never know how to go with backgrounds =(

    cartoonish

Thanks im still trying to work on getting the "cartoon" look out of my sketches. I still think 90% of the stuff I do is more suited for Low grade comic books then paintings.

Why would a nude female be unappopriate? It's the basis of drawing, learning to master the unveiled form. I might gather that it may be because of your age?
Anyway, good studies, for backgrounds, you can always try gathering photographs of rooms, exteriors and all, and then browse through your environmental folder to get ideas of what to do with a background.

    I saw the flowers die
    grand beauty turn to dust
under wings of cold white death

Just keep the facial features in sync. If it helps, you should make lines of where to put the features before drawing them, and then !!! draw them in.

The only thing that bothers me with "shariden Lockheart' is the eye. Its a bit over (which i know) but the sorce i used had the same thing. BUT then again no 2 people are alike. *still looking for the illusive person with 3 eyes*

looks like you have a good start. nice
no you are not a da vinci, but the good news is that no one is!! my advice is to study masters like da vinci, michalengelo... any master draftsman. try to copy some of their drawings. It will force you to examine how they are drawn and give your hand practice.
nice job. looking forward to seeing more!
