hy anymale,

I wanted to check out your stuff, after you gave me short but nice comment.
You are from Germany?
the anatomie studys and the skulls are going in the right direction.
The stroke of your sketches look very fast maybe a bit to fast, you dont`t have to overtake yourself. My opinion is, after you are warmed up, you could take more time for some little details, which gives the viewer a little discribtion of the individual character.

I`ll watch your process
Much fun

You might work a bit fast, but your lines are nice and fairly confident, and because you have no qualms of keeping things general at first, you'll be able to get proper form down before going into detail. (thus preventing yourself from going into detail before the general form is accurate--which is good)

I like the eye studies, you could certainly go into more detail. But they're clean and interesting to look at.

Keep it going, keep studying. Check out www.saveloomis.org "Figure Drawing for All It's Worth"

coming along. still some practice needed in blanace and proportion. love to see how your practices turn out in the end. i can imagine, the way its turning, that a good, fiction based series would be quite the time for you. well see what happens.

cheers,

Woodruff

Strong updates <> try to think more about line quality <> lines do not just enclose shapes/forms they also can tell us a lot about what that form is doing in space <> what side is facing the light where the form is active i.e. bends, flexs, stretchs etc. These most emphasis should occur what the most activity takes places.

Also where do you want the viewers eyes to go.

Ditto w/ mentler, your starting to use lines to show things other than shape, which is good.. keep going in that direction. A nice exercise for you might be to draw some hands starting with the bones, then try to add in tendons and muscles. Also, good to see some jesture drawing in there.. sometimes it helps me to draw jesture with no shapes in them at all.. then maybe add crap on it later, or photocopy to enlarge it & draw on that. Nice work.. i'll deffinatly be back to watch your improvement!

Love,

It´s interesting to see that you construct your faces with a skull beneath it. I´ve never done that & maybe it was a mistake. There are some issues, but you seem to be on the right track.
I guess that you would benefit from some detail studies, like eyes, noses... etc... Hope it helps

you have some really nice poses in here. You should try taking some of them and working them a bit more to get a complete figure. Good work keep it up!
