looking good so far, kresh. I'd like to see very slight indications of his facial structures but it's not done yet.

Looking hot. Good choice of colors. Don't know if you're already planning too, but you might wanna throw in some lighter values in his eyes or something to attract attention. Right now when I see it my eyes are drawn to the buttons on his jacket.

I will put some hint of a face in there. Just have to work the position of the other gun and where he's firing at. it will make sense soon.

Did 2 ink sketches, and im on my way to do some more. First one I liked the second one well....u can see i was unsure of myself, check out that big knot on his head hehe.. Ill look up some reference for the next one.

Grabbed the wrong papertowel on the first one, Had graphite on it and pushed it right into the right cheek.

Ink work is fun stuff!! What type of ink and how r u applying it. I really don't know how to crit your work cuz for one it really is getting better everytime i look and also i haven't done much painting. I don't know about you but i love getting crits. I just tend to pay more attention to them when i know it's coming from someone who i can see knows thier shit...like you

Thanks mort, im needed to hear that .

Penciler. Im just using cheap higgins design inks. I just use a brush with it and I dilute some colors with water and I keep some undiluted. You can pick off highlights by getting an area wet then taking a paper towel and picking up some of the color off of the paper. I usually use a little color when doing that to leave a little saturation behind. Just work fast(not to fast) and spontaneous, dont worry about messing up it happens but you can work it into your drawing.

I love crits, the worst is when someone doesnt say anything, which makes you feel like your art really blows. The compliments are nice too Thanks man.

Ah oh yeah working out how the lighting will go for my self portriat. I like where the shapes are so far still looks a bit too destaruated though.

your sp looks pretty sweet...maybe make your shoulders a bit broader? and your chest a bit broader too.

can you give some tips on how you prepare your canvas? i've been playing around in painter but you seem to have really gotten getting good colors down for each of your paintings.

You keep surprising me with you're work. The cowboy rocks and the sketches and colorfighting too. Don't like the inkportraits though. I wonder where you get the whicked ideas from. (oh wait, its gotta be the coffee you spilled and took shape on itself. )

i think the arms are too long on the children of machina stuff. are your pages toned or is that done in ps? it looks pretty cool.

hey man, that isn't fucked up (judging from the image title) i really like the stuff from the knees down.

somehow i still think something about your chest isn't right on the sp...i guess you're prolly working from a photo and can prove me wrong? ^^

Yeah i knew the arms were kinda long, i didnt have an erasure so i just kept going. I like the legs on that guy too. Ya i messed up the upper torso on him big time.

Heres another machina sketch. I keep on hittin a wall in the design process. Oh well back to the drawing board. And yes HPslashluvr im toning the paper in photoshop. Im too poor to afford the nice stuff.

If your wondering why he's pretending to fly like a bird, i want this little guy to be special than the rest of the robots. He's has an imagination.

I think it'd look cool if the gears went into the side of his ribcage. Not very practical tho cause the only thing he'd be able to do with his arms is extend them to the side... But hey, as long as it looks good. Keep up the hotness.

I thought of this too, but I still can see hindered movement in this as well. Maybe some cables instead?? Grrr but the gears look alot cooler.

Okay i bought a new sketchbook. A HUGE ass world of difference in how my pencils react to the surface. My other book was cheap as all shit, it was even worse than copy paper, tearing so easly. Immeditaly i felt my rendering looked better.
