Hey I'm drawing some characters but before i went any further, i wanted to know a really excellent way to start coloring a composistion like this. I know i'll have to make a background,,,, but i havent gotten there yet. Ive made this all with my wacom tablet in photoshop so far. Its all made on a seperate layer above a white ground layer.... Any advise on how to proceed?

i'd say make a new layer, jump in the deep end, and experiment.

Well thats just it. I've tried experimenting with color alot of times when i do a drawing. But for some reason there is something im not doing right. Is there any do's and dont's of coloring. Or else like a good way to start?
