Actually like Trev's original, Dave. Loses energy somehow, if you adjust it.

    Kickass job Trev.

i think i went to far to the left on the saturation edit...a move of about 50 to the left on the hue/sat looks way better than my original 85 suggestion.
i tend to consider the 'cmyk' printing condition all too often since i know that 60% or more of trevor's entry is out of print gamut and would not hold true to the original.

    all photographic
hell my part time job is using one o these
    http://www.cymbolic.com/images/abcphoto.jpg
    all photographic
but yeah even out a bit for that
    i wouldnty desat overall actueally
but in selective color i would add about 20 pts in absolute mode
    to reds and magentas
    and leave the rest alone
its a really small file too
i might blow it up and try to detail the everliving sh*t out of it

dude that CHOW is awesome. Really liking it. Would suggest being careful about that kind of composition - the reds are jumping forward and the blues are falling backward, and you might loose the focal point. Seems to work pretty fine here though.

Thanx for sharing though - think I can go paint for the rest of the night into tomorrow morning I'm so inspired.
    ciao!

Awesome trev, really cool and great colours!
This done in painter? What brushes? You mentioned you used modified verions of those Digital Watercolour brushes, but these look like oil pastels. Anycase, great stuff - want to see some traditional stuff from you, think that'd be cool to see!

    ciao!

thanks jake...i dont know what my hero powers are

    and thanks brendan
i am still using the technique i outlined on pg 4 of this SB
but i use different techs for alot of my subtler colorsare you ready to find out how? are you?.........glow brush
yep its not just for highlights anymore
your color should be as close to black without being black in the color you want to add...try it youll like it
    as far as traditional work
when i finish up my contract stuff at the end of the month im going to devote some time to oils
its been about a year and thats a year too long
ill show it as i paint it in steps
