Great works man. Sometimes the anatomy isn't that correct and the creature designs could use some help.
But keep drawing and in time you will solve those problems yourself.

hey, nice looking update. i like the life study, the photo looks good and i can imagine that it looks even better in person. i like the killing machine, even though you missed the deadline are you still gonna finish him? i think you should, i know i'd like to see it. I'm not really into abstract art, but i have to admit that one does catch the eye, good work man. keep it up!

Terribly sorry about missing updates; I'm trying to keep up with doing the artwork and scanning it...and failing miserably.

Crimsoneye| Thanks for the compliment, and the welcome.

Uziel| I guess I've been slacking in my studies lately... thanks!

Dose| I do have another update on the Killing Machine I'll post when I get a camera or a scanner. I'm not too big on abstract either, so I tried to make it interesting for someone who dosen't really care for it either. Good to know I succeded.

Taj| Thanks. Ill keep the hands and feet in mind next time; I kinda did the inking in a hurry...that may have had something to do with it.

I really dont like updating without an image, so heres something old...

    Hey there!
You're doing good, now post something new and not old
I like your last post with new stuff, really liked the abstract piece, think that one looks very cool! Don't know why, I am normally not that into abstract things..
the character sketch looks cool, very good work on the folds of the clothing.

ehmm I have no crits really,

O sketchbook, how have I neglected thee...

Well, I may have been lazy updating, but not lazy drawing.
    Dump time!

More to come when I get my camera back and can scan from my big sketchbook. I need to draw my ass of for the workshop. I have to be able to not look like a jackass being there.

    Have to.

This last pic on the last post is sweet and I wanna see you take it further. Something to keep in mind in the future is the layout the head seems misplaced on the body because the neck is lost in the cloak. The head ends up being to high and neck to long. But I like your style. I want more.
Try keeping your gesture intact throughout the drawing. Your poses look very stiff.
    MORE!

I totally agre with SkapeGoat, I really would like to see some further development with that last sketch you posted, and work on the poses as well, try drawing more full bodies from reference (*ouch* I need to do that as well..) and try to get a sense of what positions for the body look well.

    keep posting!

    hey there!

I gotta agree, that last pic definitely deserves to be taken further, as well as the killing machine. the latest update on the killing machine reminds me of that scene from Troy where the two armies are standing looking at each other and they challenge their best two fighters to battle. the killing machine is stepping out to f somebody up and and the rest of the army is staring at him, awed.

anyway, keep on pluggin, looking at anatomy, and letting the brain juices flow.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I like that last piece too, but I think I'll probably have to start it over if I want to take it further. Too much off with the pose for the legs to be doing anything intelligable. But who knows what the future holds.

Sorry I don't have any updates; I'm currently up in the mountains on vacation. Ill scan the stuff when I get home on Monday.

Sorry about the lack of art and about the really shitty picture that you're about to see...
Korohshiyas discount mattress and sketchbook emporium
I worked on this self portrait for probably about 5 or 6 hours, and frankly, I don't think I have the painting finesse to finish it off the way I want. Oils are still fairly new to me. So, I think I'll have to leave it off at about the 90% completion that its at now. I'll get a better picture of it up tomorow and probably post it in the critique center. I want this one to be good, but I don't know if I can take it past this stage.

Anyway, less emo and more art at 11.

Done for a friend who loves Berserk and John Milton. Combinging the 2...wasn't as hard as it could have been? Oh well. Ill scan more later.
