    Speech Impediment.

Been far too long since my last post. I need to put forth a better effort to kick out more personal work. Here is a quasi-surreal painting. Sort of Drawing concepts/fine arty, but it's a break from all the gamer shit. ^_^ Thoughts, comments, recipes?

    shit......no replies?

This painting is cool. I love the characters expression, colors used, the overall feel. The lobster-looking-thingy emerging from his mouth is a narsty thought - but well placed! LOL

    - I have no recipes or advice regards to your painting; but that creature may taste nice with a white wine and herb sauce....

I like it, good paint. The ear grease makes me throw up tho.

And Molly, there where no replies because this is just the third view of the thread.

Yes i like it too. The face is really nice, colors and all. Same goes for the lobster or whatever it is in his mouth.

I don't like those vein-like things to the right of his neck though. Those just seem sloppy and serve no purpose in my eyes.

And i don't understand why somebody dipped his ear in chocolate.

    Ahh! AHHH! DUDE! WARN PEOPLE!

Seriously, I'm in agreement with Hemmendorff about the vein things. I also don't like the way you've distorted his hand. Otherwise, good job.

    Izzy you scare me.

Niiiice treatment man. I think the hand works juuuust fine. And the red outline (subcutaneous anatomy, yeah?) is very cool. C'mon people! have a little vision outside the accepted/expected norm!! Good work man. We gotta hang out and draw sometime soon... though I'm hittin' finals and then going off to India for a few weeks, but we'll manage eventually. Keep rockin' it man!

    Peace,

gorgeous. i wish the thin red lines weren't there and the rest of his shirt was at least somewhat rendered.

    I love this one!
Simply amazing execution. I love the painting style with the slightly twisted horror-theme. The altered hand is very cool and dynamic, makes me think of the "The Animatrix : World Record" short. Very disturbing and dynamic,
Though i would like some glow in his left eye.

If it's coming out of his mouth, where did it come in?

    Anyways, good work!

    really nice

I love this pic, the distortion yet realistic lighting, the style, the expressive and strange pose, all comes together for something really nice. Great work.

Hey! Thanks everyone for commenting. The lil blue guy is a sort of hermit crab. I thought it would be interesting if perhaps the man was his new home. Hahah, the red lines are just some anatomy sketching on top of the image, but, I will definitely be more mindful about having sketches over rendered images be more significant. Thanks again!
