    mothman prophecy

    Case Study #14
The markings on this Insectoid (found caught in a web) appear to reveal more clues into just where the creature's secret dwelling may lie. At present, the location of the Mothmen is unknown.

An accomplished predetor, the Flint Thug Beetle has evolved an extraordinairy exoskeleton, giving it both camoflague and protection when it folds itselfm albeit with a sacrifice in agility, and making itself an easy for any animal that figured how to crack it.

    Cuthbert Bugsy, Merchant-at-Law.

What is a Merchant-at-Law? Only Ol' Bugsy knows, and he's not telling. On his back he carries, in tent form, his house, and if you're not much of a haggler, he could be carrying your house too.

    Nice one, Phaethon.

Being particularly fragile in its pupal stage, the titan beetle has adapted to the practice of inhabiting discarded snail shells for shelter and protection during some of the earlier stages of its development, similar to the behavior of hermit crabs. Unlike hermit crabs, however, it permanantly integrates the shell with its developing exoskeleton, retaining its former home for the duration of its adult life.

I think I might have overdone it on the spikes.
