    LionHawk

    Hey peoples,
Been trying to add my characters into environments. Having trouble making them look like they're part of the environment.
    What do you think?

I think this one works pretty well. I think your problem might be the "adding" part. You might try doing them at the same time.

The bright yellow beak might be throwing it off a bit, could try a cooler yellow. I'd also tinker with adding some cooler tones into the fur from the sky, especially in the shadows. You've got some so I can tell your thinking about it.

To me, the image is already pretty "cool" in terms of tones. I think the fur could really use (or some place in the image could use) some richer, warmer tones.

I think this still is having a little trouble as far as the integration of figure and background goes. perhaps the shadow under/behind him isn't quite right? The light source seems to be above him over his middle body, but the shadow's casting too far behind him for that and it's making him float a bit rather than sitting on the ground.

    very nice.

    two thoughts:

one, dont shade a yellow beak with black. use colors.
two, it might be cool if his left paw casually hung over the edge of the cliff.
