a friend of mine uses soulseek. i tried it short after AG went down but i was disappointed:
    i found electronic music only.

it's not that i didn't like some few genres of electronics (industrial, some ebm) but the majr part of my music is gothic, neofolk, classical and things like that.

can you recommend soulseek for anything else than electro stuff?

I'm using Slsk for ca. six month now, my nick is kaini0618 over there.
It's like paradise for me, I already downloaded at least 30 gigs of excellent, rare music from soulseek, not to mention all the movies.

i tried soulseek at the beginning of august. that thing is probably my favorite p2p proggie.
true, there's a huge amount of electronic stuff, and sometimes rare materials. love it love it.
but there's is also a fair amount of movie score and classical.
i created a movie score chat room sometime ago, and the thing kept going, with peeps in it night and day.

in other words, soulseek is evil!

    my two nicks: sparth
    sparth.

one at the office, and one at home

    go for it!!
