Those airplanes are quiet lovely, although I have to agree with someone who posted that they didn't like the blur. Not really a big deal though, I guess. Really liking the character designs too.

Also, it's pretty fun to go back and look at the first pages of this thread and compare it to now . I love watching art progress.

Hey! Love what you did with that Albatross! And that Spitfire piece turned out pretty cool, though I've never been too keen on the digital blur, though you didn't have control over that i bet. I also really dig that Atlantean looking armored warrior in the top left of the last image .

Keep working on your digitals, they're coming along nicely, don't be afraid to push some more values too, your work ends up looking a bit more flat than when it went in it seems, it just needs a little more love to make it pop!

    Can't wait for more, yessir!

    hey gnoll,

i said it earlier, you're getting good, really good.. kinda blown away here. But enough asskissing. time for some ass kicking

i've got a crit regarding your 2nd drawing in the last update. It seems everything is very well constructed except your propellor. It's kinda drifting to its left (our right), so its not in the center. It should be moved a little to the left (for us) i think.

whatever, thats a very minor thing but i just want to tell you.

    anyway, keep on rock-and-roll-ing.

I enjoy that you post a full range of work, it really shows what you are capable of - I will have to keep paying attention to your inking as I'm sure it will help me as well Don't really have critiques other than keep posting more often so its not trying to talk about 30 pieces of art all at once. Then its less overwhelming to try and help!

I am a big fan of storyboards. Your are very well done. People may seem that it is easy to do, but it is not. You should be fast because of the short deadline. The drawing should be simple and yet says it all. Also you need to think about the camera angle and composition.

    Overall very very good sketchbook.
    Cheers!

That post generally was really cool, but the ink works (especially the creatures) I really really like.. I think although you may not feel like your sketches are worth posting and people commenting on, they are a huge insight for people like me who are starting at the bottom!...

Because its not often that you get to see someone at a level such as yourself displaying various stages of their work, its kind of like a "how I work to achieve the end results" tutorial... Keep up the great work

Nice comic pages! Excellent figure and character pencil sketches! I want to see more of this overdrawn pencils (first helplines, harder, darker corrected lines or (?)ink on the helplines as "overpaint"). Thanks for sharing!
