hehe nice slug thingie
Nice stuff! I like the Western sequences and the color lady with the chin markings (inspired by Maori tattoos?). But for someone who calls himself "The Gnoll" I don't see a whole lotta gnolls...
Here's an idea... howabout trying another Western page - where the hero is a gnoll? I don't think it's been done before, might be an interesting exercise...
complimenti...sopratuto per l'ultimo upgrade...e la storiella "l'ultimo concerto" mi ha fatto troppo ridere.....grande!
Love your drawings got style.
Your line work is so good i perfer this version rather then your finished pic.
I would subscribe to this tread if i knew how. Great work man.
Ps. the slug is fantastic.
@MonkeYoakum: hey man thanks!
@B-Man: yo doood! you can treat individual panels in a comic page as if they were tiny illustrations!
@walnut: yo man, glad you liked the slugdude, i actually started liking thse legs after a bit
@Tom van der Linden: thanks! will do
@_MOTH_: hehe thanks!
@Dromer: thanks man, glad you enjoyed you holiday over here! yeah i actually had to make him look a bit as if he was a living mummy reawakening from slumber, so glad to hear he looks like a wimp!
@Quike Garcia: thanks man! maori tattoo = +20% badass.

@Jack Nugget: grazie mille! sei uno dei pochi sul forum che è in grado di leggerla
@Teh Gosu: i've got a feeling you were stoned while writing this but very apprecated nonetheless!
@Mitze: thank you! yes, i guess sketches in any form usually have some kind of "life" in the that kinda fades away while working on it, its difficult to control te process so that there is no loss at all, but a matter of practice i guess! to subscribe you just gotta go to "thread tools" next to the star rating thing at the top of the page and click on "subscribe" in the drop menu!
sorry for taking so long to update
i got my first payed art job woohoo! did some storyboards (actually not "storyboards " but something similar)
they were definately a learning experience, altho the quality isn't really top notch it was the first time i did something like this and jeez they had to be done really really fast for my usual standards (less than 20 hours)
*i'll put em up in a couple of days*
some random doodles
and the layout for the upcoming second episode of Bego (the finished version will be up soon, with the second issue of the fanzine

All the comic work you've done has definitely helped prepare you for this job. Very nice panels! The compositions work well, and the characters' body language is also well done.
Congrats on the first job, by the way! Cool that you're able to post it, as well. I can't post mine until next month, when the magazine is out.
Very nice, congrats on the job! keep the updates rolling.
Awesome, AWESOME doodles. You really do have the right style for comic books - I don't know this Bego guy (forgive me for not reading all 89 pages of your sketchbook to find out xD), but the layout looks great. Congrats for getting the job!
I am so in love with those dinosaurs it's not even funny, they look squishy. And that orc's skirt IS rather nice, ehe.
Bit more seriously - where did you study art here in Italy?
hey, high-five for landing a paying job doing sequentials, i can't wait to see them! Sweet sketches as well, the gladiator with the swinging flail is awesome, and i'm in love with those dinosaurs, hot damn!
Also, nice thumbnails, I should get in the habit of using grid paper for that.
I look forward to more!
Hey man you are doing great! Think positive and keep it up!!!
And thank you so much for being my teacher.
Ahh theGnoll, I'm honestly proud of you and wanted to say a genuine thank you for continuing to help me though my not so strong area of characters! I still need your further attention when you have time, though I'll need a lot more practice to properly absorb your great advice
The first dude in your last updates, rock solid! it feels simple in its elements (like much of your work) but soo effective...there is a lesson in that.
Hahaha, love your side-noted doodling, is always really funny
Eager to see that work piece, and the comic, of course

I studied a year at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna (fumetto illustrazione) then moved to studying at the Scuola di Comics in Reggio Emilia (and loving it ) but we are all our own best teacher!
@Call0ps: hey man, thanks! that would be awesome, please do!
@B-Man: he he thanks man!
@AustenFM: *highfive* yo! glad you liked them! here are the storyboards.yeah actually just discovered grid paper is really useful cause it makes it easier to draw stright lines for the page and panels (too lazy to pick up a ruler )
@PieMonster:thanks man! glad you liked them, sorry to have to repost 'em, more new stuff soon!
@Jakers: thanks man no problem at all, it helps me as well! can i post those sheets i sent you here? (no 2 &3)
