    Hi looking for crits ^^. Euhm I think you could tighten up the rendering of his ribcage/ breast area a little bit more. I liked how you handled it in post #2594 but it seems it got somewhat lost while rendering it further. It seems a bit to smooth/soft now.
    I'm in love with delicate hard edges you know .

    Other then that, great work!

    Absolutely love your turn of the century/ WWI character designs, those are right up my alley! Your attention to accuracy is great when it comes to period clothing and uniforms, love your variety in characters too!

    I cant wait to see more of what you're working on, keep it up!

    That muscle on his right arm that's running over his elbow looks a little big, i'm not sure if it should be that overstated. Other than that, looks like you're on the right track. This going to be coloured?

    Sober respect,

    Hey Gnoll, great update! Maybe the last ogre guy is a bit cliche, but it doesn't mean it can't be quite a lot of fun to make them anyway! I like how your style is obviously leaning towards more of an "animation" and comic style, but never really abandoning good anatomy. Keep it up!

    And I've returned from Spain, now at my dad's place but when I get home I'll upload the sketches which I made there!

    Hell yeah, man! That's how you polish up a painting! You rendered up everything nicely, and all of the forms and objects are very well defined. The tattoos on his shoulder and the handprints on his shield are especially cool.
    One more crit before you go into color, if I may. The deepest core shadows on his right arm, the arm holding the sword, look like they're a fraction less dark than the darkest darks on the rest of him. It makes the shading there look ever so slightly pale to my eyes. I also think the shadows in his left shoulder/neck/shoulder strap region are a bit too soft and hazy. Nitpicks aside, great job on that piece.

    that's a really cool character, man.
    You could try to model the forms some more in the shadows, little too much of the same values here. But apart from what Moai already mentioned, I think he's looking mighty fine.
    Maybe give a little sharper edges to the castshadows on his body than you have on formshadow. that always makes a piece pop some more to me. Though that probably depends on the lightsource you imagine.
    really good rendering in general and cool detailing. necklace is nice!

    Great ogre,man!!!My only crit is that you should put some minor bounced light in certain zones,for example the palm of the hand that is holding the sword,it looks too dark and flat.Why don´t you try with a color layer over it??
    Fantastic work as always!!!

    I like man! the shield and his equipment and proportions in particular. Perhaps just watch the values a bit in the skin so that the highlights arent all just as bright? then you can maybe keep even more attention on his head. Love the sword, badass!

    @Moai: thanks a lot man for your suggestions i appreciate the help a lot!

    @Mitze:thanks!

    @Dan Valkar: glad to hera that mate, thanks!

    @ICH: grazie mille!

    @monotony: thanks man! all these suggestions are kept in mind and are MUCH appreciated, thanks!

    @VanDog: thanks man, great to see you stop by!

    @B-Man:WHOA illustration dynamic composition in DIGITAL?WITH COLOR?! you're nuts dude.

    @Camara: thanks for the crits man and for stopping by, as usual!

    @Jakers: thanks for the suggestion and glad you liked the bits man, those are the fun part!

    @SIME: thank you, glad to read that!

    thanks a lot for the suggestions guys, they are very very welcome.The initial plan was indeed to try some colors and get the values right, and i think i understand your sggestion but i don't know, i kinda feel like i'm sick of working on it and as if i'm just pushing paint around without knowing what i'm doing
    I'll try and keep in mind what you've guys said, but i think its better to get those damn values right before even touching the color, so i'll just keep messing about with digitals while i have fun with it.
    No big deal tho

    That slug thing is cool! All it needs is some polishing i think, and perhaps you could lose the legs but i'm not sure about that. It's kind of funny in a way for it to be bipedal.

    I just returned from holiday in your beautiful country (love the food, architecture and weather so much) and now I find a great artist from there. The zombie-comic is too sick, so freaking much details and beauty. Also nice to see Ctulhu (never know how to spell his name) One of the best images of him .He mostly looks like a wimp with his small legs, but yours is truly amazing.
