There is some good stuff in here! You definitely need to do more studies, but right now your creativity is your strongest weapon. Your anatomy isn't terrible and the poses are stronger than what I usually come up with. There are two areas where I think you could improve fairly easily: Line, and composition.

    Line:
The weight (thickness) and value (darkness) of your lines are the same all over. This makes your sketches look flat and less interesting. Try varying your weight and value as you work to see what effects they have. One technique you'll see a lot is to use darker/thicker lines to silhouette your subject, and use thiner/lighter lines inside that border. Also thiner lines can be used to show what is farther from the viewer. Also don't limit yourself to simple lines. Lines can be hard or soft, a line can be the boundry between areas of different color or value, you can even describe things by the absence of line.

    Composition:
Composition is a harder problem. Basically it is the use of contrast to control where the viewers eye travels. Prometheus's magnum tutorial has a lot of useful ideas about how to acheve this: http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm
Your more finished drawings seem to have a lot of small details all competing for focus. Also there isn't any difference in value or line between the forground and background. Even sketches can benefit from composition, to see a great example of this in action checkout Lungbugs SB:http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...ht=lung+sketch
Okay, that is as close as I can come to constructive criticism. Just keep working on the basics, expanding your knowledge, and most importantly don't give up your creativity. Creativity is the fire, all the rest of this is just fuel.

Your anatomy is getting pretty strong! I esp. like this one: your link. A few of your figures are looking a little stiff or awkward. For awkwardness try to think about how your figure is sitting on the ground, would they be able to stand like that or would they fall over? Think about where/how their weight is supported. For stiffness: your guess is as good as mine. Life drawing is supposed to help.

Am too lazy to open and view these, but from what I can see,....you rock and should not have too much trouble getting replies (by the time you get to your second page, latest). Also, post your work sawewise as you already did on post #12. Leaving c&c at other peoples sb's might help you spread the word of your existance on ca.org.
You seem to be a very promising artist, so it would be sad, did you not get the credit you deserve.
    So long...

Ahh, no more thumbnails....hmmmmm what a delight

thx for droping by at my sb.
I've never tried photoshop, but I know there are great tutorials to be found on this forum. So your approach on last one's the best I'd say. (There's also something of a peergroup activity or something round here, where they have assignments on how to apply basics in photoshop)
The first two are sort of naive and cheesy. Besides that, I like how you tried to get some lighsource thing going on. I would not advise you to use black or greish colours (first pic) unless it's supposed to be a B&W picture. You could use dark blue tones for example or colouredgrey. You also could add some perceptual depth to these enviros. By the use of sfumato or warm tones in foreground and bluish in background. The moon on second one does not look like a moon colourwise and lightsources on sclouds are confusing, although I like the way you did em.

Will try to check in some time again. Wish you the best on your progress with photoshop.
    Salutos.

thx again for the support blacky, i really appreciate it

The landscape look a bit cheesy cause they were for a school thing, i'll try to do something more interesting next time. Thanks a lot for the comments on the landscapes, ill keep what you said about lightsources, sfumato etc in mind

apart from that, i'm gonna slowly re-post all the pics and make the whole topic thumbnail free , then you all will have no excuses^^
