    Fifth Element WIP

ive had a lot of projects put on hold due to school. now that schools all but finished, i can finally indulge. heres a WIP ive just begun, its going to hopefully have most of the characters of Fifth Element in it (time will tell). no thorough plan for it, just drawing and taking it as it comes. yes, his body looks young, but i intend to clothe him like in the part of the movie where hes on the cruise spaceship (torn white dress shirt, black suspenders, etc). sort of a practice in anatomy from my head, too. hope you like. crits and suggestions welcome as always

    more to come very soon!

he has child anatomy but u already said that.

other than that, the distance between his nose and mouth is to much. and the arm is too short.

u captured a good likeness of bruce willis. i especially liked the smile on his face. hehe, that's very characteristic of him

now, when are u going to draw milla jovovich (man, i forgot all the character names of the film)

thanks for that, e n d e r. i had to heavily reference his face, cause capturing likeness with vector is quite difficult. i did, however, overemphasize certain areas of his face, so it wasnt a completely realistic head on a (child's) cartoonish body. sort of a dumbed-down charicature. if its too much, then i can easily remedy it. his expression was all my own, him being one of my fave actors i chose it cause, as you said, its very distinctly his trademark smirk i did have his arm longer, but for fear of getting it wrong i shortened it. also easily rectified.

next on the books, make his arms look a little older and more in proportion (thatll be a toughy), add his ripped shirt, legs (of course), and i was thinking of him holding one of the stones. pose may change a little to something more dynamic, but thats the jist of it thus far.

.. oh, and milla will be here very soon also. i have a dynamic flykick/flip pose hopefully lined up for her

    looking good.
i know you wanted him to look slender, but his physique is looking a bit teenager-ish.
Maybe bulking up his trapezius, and lowering his pectorals. And add a bit of clarity and definition in the ribcage, and i think you're set to go.
Ps- that gun looks crazy. i dig.

I agree with everyone else here, enlarge his torso and ribcage and that should work out a bit.

Also his lips seem to be juuuuuust a smidge too low. Not much, just a little.

I think the lips are fine. Bruce Willis always looked like a half-ape to me.
