Yo all, just thought I'd start a photo journal to coincide with a purchase of my new lens, a gorgeous little EF 28-135mm IS USM. The image quality with this mofo is rediculous, razorsharp and so far I have shot tripodless on my sole outing with it. it also weights quite a fair bit but leads to reduces handshake and increased sturdiness.
I shoot with a Canon 20D, with battery pack and for flash I pack a 580EX with diffuser, outdoors I also generally shoot with a polariser during day time.
Next lens I'm looking at getting in a few weeks will be a Canon 100-400mm IS USM L, I tried that little puppy out the other day and it shoots like a fucking dream.
Here are some older shots with a standard crappy few hundred dollars canon EF 28-80mm - generally all shot on ISO 100 with max apertures at around 3.5f. This was a period when I had no idea how to alter temperature, so everything was shot with available lighting.
Here's a few shots with my new lens.
