Oh, joy. This is definitely my treat of the week. So good to finally see more pencils from you. Also glad to hear you are getting paid for your talent. Good luck with that.

Hi Lukias, nice to see an update. Keep on sharing these beautiful sketches of yours. Alot of energy and love in them.

What happened with your photoshop paintings, was looking a few pages back, the way you handle shapes and planes in a economic way is a sheer joy for the eye.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I may have said it to you once, but...back in 2003 (or was it 04?) I saw your work and was inspired to pick up drawing and take it seriously. It's always amazing to see the span of your imagination sir!

Hey thanks everyone for all your comments.

    To some Q's..

Pencilator - Well I found painting digi pretty frustrating because I was really aware of how little I understood in that area.. how I thought my attempts were fairly shit and this in turn was unmotivating. Then after a quiet sulk, time passes and periodically the process would repeat. Plus I excel at being lazy. But maybe I'll try again.

TASmith - I appreciate your comments man(really) but I highly doubt I could pull off anything remotely like transient. In any respect.

Goodoldayz - From my imagination.. and you'd have to have some serious pimpn power to have that many people at your disposal!.

AndreasM - Thanks mate!! No better feedback than that sir. Really.

SusanMart - If? hah.. this is definitley the first time someones suggested I may have pinched someone elses art. Not that my word is worth much but yes, its all mine. Cheers

Some sketch work for Spartacus Blood and Sand. From early 09 and sporadically after. I hadn't drawn for a some while when this kicked off so was
a pretty full on way to get back into the swing of things. Lots so-so.
I feel I should explain a bit re that fact that I'm not doing this from a creative standpoint more that of a flesher-outter of someone elses idea's/I draw what I'm told.
Just to save anyone giving undue props.
I'm dictated to and given reference in terms of historical drawings, photographic ref of artifacts/armour/weapons etc etc etc plus the occasional torsoe/dummy in dress. Sometimes I'll draw variations on emblems and the like and my input might help the selection but thats the extent of it. Though within the obvious bounderies I can be a little free.
First drawing gig ever. Better late than never.
(Taken with my digi cam.. )

Hey this may not be the most creative work you've done but its still really awesome to see your style and skill in this type of work, too. Guess being told what to draw down to minute details isn't for everyone, but damn you pull it off so well Really like the pretty loose, almost brushstroke-y sort of pencil stroke you have going on in a lot of these.

Man, your stuff is jaw dropping.
Man your pencil? Charcoal? skills are so sick
I almost felt bad for my self, but then I seen that you started your SB in 05, and then your stuff was really good, So I really have something to looks forward too one day if I can get to your skill lvl.
