yeah, i know it's a very classic theme...but i like the idea of doing some retro look and design of the creature like in the old horror movies you know...this is NOT a requirement just writing down my thoughts...

Thanx to Saise for suggesting the idea in the topic ideas thread...maybe this is a little redress for rejecting your entry last round

Looks like fun, maybe i will join. But im not certain due to the judging, seeing that mine got disqualified for having 3 "humanoid skulls" meanwhile for example "rasdasa's" contribution to "The Messenger Of Death" has half the body of a human rendered with head, torso and human like arms...

Just stay away from the character and humanoid stuff and you're fine...if some people got away with it even when breaking some rules, it's because their entry is extraordinary in some other parts like concept, design, rendering etc...

I am just checking facts since this will be my first try at this and I don't want the dreaded remove to happen to me.

The old swamp thing from comics and movie fame had a huma form...sorta. @ legs, 2 arms...one head. Are we to avoid anything that even at all resembles human form at all?

Isn't it kind of ironic that the mascot is a humanoid cow? : P

Anyway, cool idea, I'm probably going to try this one.

You are not supposed to do something related to the comics, movies or whatever...just do a creature where the concept of a swamp beast fits...don't think so cliche...what's the meaning of doing a swamp beast everyone saw yet??? Do something new...
