Since we're on the topic. Oblivion will be delayed until 1st Q next year. It WILL NOT BE A LAUNCH TITLE.

Press release should be out soon if not published already. But I heard it from the proverbial horse's mouths since I know some guys in Bethsoft.

i don't think they ever said it was going to be a launch title. It doesn't matter if they delay it if that means it won't be as bug infested as morrowind.

Talk to your pals and tell them i said that. They better make sure it's worth the money because i won't be eating because of it.

Errr, it was considered a launch title until recent developments but yeah there were clues here and there that suggested they won't be able to complete it by November's end.

LOL, I'm sure they look thru most of the Elder Scrolls forums so if you made your point known there already, they'd have probably seen it. And I'm sure you're not the first person who said that. Heck I told them the same thing.

To hell with the 360. It cant even come close to what the new sli pc's can do. And DC and scumgrinder get it for pc so you can use the tes construction set, its by far the best part of the elder scrolls.

    Peace

If you compare the price of the 360 to what you need to pay for SLI, I think you'll find the difference.

Wouldn't it be sweet if we could own a performance machine with a $1000 price tag at the price of a 360?

    You do the math.

That's why the X360 is looking better every day....and cheaper. Now only if they have a dedicated keyboard/mouse system and I'll be all over it.

Is it just me, or are the recent screenshots of Oblivion getting worse? By worse I mean, graphically lacking compared to the first ones. Do you think it has something to do with the framerates?

Yeh its quite funny actually.... im not one to say im amazing but the conceptart for Morrowind defintly wasnt up to par with some of the top notch stuff you see around atm.

Its a damn good job they had some good modellers and world creaters... cus the design of architecture and stuff came out pretty nice.

For those who aint seen it...

the tes set was great fun to play around with. building diffrent structures and stuff. and this looks better so maybe i get this for the tes set. exploring the arcitect. but yea the concept looks not like the first. this looks just medieval. the bone armor was a great concept in the first game. and the dwarfen steam punk stuff.
looks like if im trying this on my computor it will not run so smooth.

and im not gonna upgrade or anything for a silly game.

I've been interested in this one, but I never cared much for Morrowind. Graphics are bland... And I don't care much for the first person perspective view in this particular game. I really didn't give it much of a chance though, too many other RPGs to play.

I belive you can play Oblivion in either a first person, or third person view. I only tried out marrowind at a friend's house, but realized quickly that I needed much more time to really get into it. I'm pretty set on getting Oblivion... but for PC or X360, i'm not sure.

Also, they are giving us sneak peaks of this game as the days count down.

    http://elderscrolls.com/downloads/media_movies.htm

They have a "1 week to go", and "6 days left" movie now. They are very short, but the "1 week to go" video has some great footage.
