well,hello again. finally got around scanning my stuff from prague and thus the updating madness is free to begin again. let's start with a big dump:
before the workshop,still at home,c.o.w.:

14 hours of sleep in 3 days make carnifex emotional(after this sketch i actually went to the toilet and wept,didn't wanna go home):

hey dude. yeah, reckon gauge might have a point there. tonal studies might be a good point for you to start looking into - monochromatic renderings of, preferably, still life stuff. that'll teach you a lot about observation (seeing where things lie in relation to each other via vertical lines, for instance). Great to see the progression since Prague.

Like dirty_C said, some value-studies might do ya good! The latest COW looks good, but if the contrast was pushed even more, and you lost the underlying lines it would rock!
