    My Gallery

    Hello there!

I have got now my on-line gallery here: http://www.vincentdutrait.com/swal/
It's a temporary and simple gallery, not so much texts and a lot of pictures. It is not a web site. This one will come early in 2006!!!
Well then, let me know what you think about my artwork... if you want to!

    Cheers,
    Swal

You have a real problem with consistency and anatomy. Legs and arms are different lengths, and not proportionally realistic to the eye.

A lot of your stuff is unfinished, and crudely rendered. Nothing really eye-gouging bad, but nothing of any real interest either, particularly without backgrounds and with the bad anatomy and perspective...

It's okay enough, I guess. What is your intended purpose to display all these pieces, and who is your intended audience?

I for one am really glad you have a gallery up now. I noticed it while checking out Dutrait's site and was pleasantly surprised. I've enjoyed your work since you did those character portraits for Infernum(sp?). The fluidity of your figures is very cool, and reminds me a bit of Claire Wendling. Also love the pic with the wizard blasting the guy. Looking forward to a full-blown website.

I love the fact that you can just keep clicking and all your website is a giant slideshow. It's great for lazy speed surfers like me so that we can enjoy the art in a constant stream.
The only crit I have is that your highly detailed work is almost thumbnail size. One would think that for this kind of peices you'd go a little larger like the sketches with a detail vignette insert.

Unfortunately I've gotta agree with this, the legs really look strange on some pictures.
I like most of it though.

    Nice gallery .

The above comments are propably quite true.

What irretated me was that the "Anne Frank" paintings - well she looked like a middle aged man in them IMO.

I really like the black & white finished paintings
