You need to work on the looseness of your lines. It makes a character more interesting to see him with more round and loose proportions. I think it also depends "how" you sit there and draw. I mean I don't go to close to a sketch with the first lines. Get a bit away from the paper and start really loose and simpel. Almost like i saw u drawing, but i think i can read this out of your drawings.

    Any digitally artworks?

actuall ynow i start]ed thinking again..
in all my sadness and sorrow i forget these were other people on the board..
    so lemme reply to them

ApolloNuevo - thnx for that.. the pic aint showing no more.. but yeh
i see what you mean.. it hard to be here for me..
im really scared to show my shit... thnx for the reply

Skureal - hey dude.. thanx for the idea's. they helped . i think i see what you mean.. and keep up your works.. every piece you do amazes me
you are th]e one i envy most because we have been drawing allong side eachother and you just raced away and never came back.. wonderfull skills

Tigermilk - tnx man, im pretty pleased with the rendering myself.
i do take my sketchbook everywhere. but its hard for me to draw since im so ashamed when there are people arround me.. i get nerves and can concentrate anymore. its getting better though. i need to find a way to make my drawing live more.. they are so static and chaotic.. there is no flow in there..
hard thing to learn. im trying to draw very controlled lines now.. folowing then in my mind sortha feeling what the line representing while i put them down. seems to work.. at least i feels better.. that i actually have some level of control on what i put down..

Cordy - thanx for the reply.. charging i will keep doing. if only because i love to... which is more then enough. and hoping i will improve i shall keep doing to. feeling bad about not reaching my previous goal is something i try to stop.. hope thatll work
what do you mean by 'can you duel wield?'
    thnx.

sorry for the bump this reply creates.. not my intention.. just wanted to thnk the repliers so they can bump with a honest reason
    cheers,
    wi2

Some people love the scribbly drawing but i kinda hate it as it just seems too confusing. I guess it can be quite fun ti follow the lines to see what images I can spot, but im more practical. Thats not to say its a bad style, its good, but not my taste.

I do like the cleaner drawings, in pencil. You say you wont get any further with your skills but you will, everyone does within time. Keep going and keep finding ways to improve.
    -
Go and fine some real life objects to draw, it doesnt necassararly have to be a middle aged woman standing nude way too close to you *cringe*, but do try to do some portrait work of friends and family and also do some self-portraits from the mirror. Another good thing is to go to a local library/cafe and draw people while your having a tea/coffee.
    -
I find going to nude drawing classes as a big benefit, even though I dont partically like the subject (which i showed above) I still do it and I usually force myself to go to one. Sadly they have been cancelled so i am back to drawing studies of the anatomy from books and portraits of family.

Some great work, keep it up. Someday you might make a living from it.

    Hyver - hey man.. thnx

Fl3wk - thnx for the concern... i do draw from life on a weekly bases. i like it and actualy seem to be ok at that.. the problem lies when i start drawing from my mind.. its hard to focus for. but i think im getting closer lately.
i personaly like pretty much all drawing styles.. when they have that thing
that something that makes drawing good and makes drawing itself fun. thats what i think is the 'talent' some have.. and some have to hope they will one day learn.. the big problem, is that i dont know what that thing is.. so ill just keep drawing and hope its pops up one day.
well actually. i hope im wrong.

great stuf man. love the extreme messy pages and the more rendered ones coming after that. environments looking interesting too, although id love to see some more detail / chaos.

    keep it up man
