I like the astronaut guy in your last update. Keep it up!
cool new stuff, nice and loose, that's great!!
Take care on your anatomy and proportions though, keep rocking dude!!
thank you folks- always good to get some comments.. zak- the faces were like.. 9 by 5 cm..
heres a quick sketch.. some idea i had in my head.. i know it probably wouldnt erally work out weight-wise.. but oh well it was fun to do.
HA! your lines are getting better! I like that last one. The face and his belly are very well done. The middle area looks strange, and he is out of balance, but I guess the crits are unecessary because you did it for fun and not because of the concept. Post more.
weell well.. real quick lineart deal i did tonight.. i actually did alot more but its too embarrassing to post that poo
Welcome to the Land of the Bone <> got it goin' on
got some good stuff here =) one thing that stands out right now are your hands and feet. they're not up to the level as the rest of your drawings. i'd recommend looking at some bridgeman books or just studying hand structure with pics on google. if you look close, you'll notice that there's a curve on the knuckles. they don't go straight accross and that's what offsets the fingers a bit. also, i'd like to see you finish those 5 and 10 minute poses. it'd be good practice and defining a light source and form i think. anyways, keep it up. doing good stuff =)
Hitting you back, thanks for checking my sketchbook. You've got a nice look to your drawings. I like your pencil work too. Good job.
Well.. Schools buggin me as always- im failing my mathclass so i gotta work on that right now.. got some other stuff going on as well and im not really creating anything good artwise.
mentler- um.. thank you
character- thanks, i noticed the same thing.. im working on it- doing some studies n stuff but its not postable yet.
bohh- no problem, with that sig i just had to post
cobi- thank you!
well i think its boring to post without a pic so heres a bit of randomness.. tried to do some fashion thingy and some sort of prop sketch.
oh yeah and makin fun of some friends:
weeelll i had a lot of shit to do for my school but now im done and im on break.. Merry Christmas to you all... I got acrylics from santa! i will get some oils for myself too though.. So thats what you'll get to see in the near future.
Here's what I gave my grandparents for christmas, it's me growing up.. for some of the past pictures I obviously used reference...
here are some quick character designs, my goal was to quickly come up with a bunch of characters that have the same theme..
(veery important one... its about 1 x 0.5 cm big..)
heres another present i made.. a ~300 page calendar (1 drawing/day, 1 drawing/weekend(2days)) the printable version has a frame on it which tells you the date n all that.. lots of work.. but i stuck with that fat penguin character all through the calendar..
and finally... a birthday card for a friend of mine.. it shows 2 friends and me.. me being the guy on the right in the leather jacket..
ill be updating more regularly again.. since i have the time now.
The first one is really good, i like the idea and the result. Still some major anatomy and proportion issues on those character designs. Best would be to do some thumbnail figure warmups from live or reference at the beginning.
Sorry my english sucks. I'm tired.
great work man keep it up
