    Flask - Yo, thx.
Dags att göra krokin till nåt regelbundet?

Dile - I've been around. I don't really post without art tho, and 0 digital output + no scanner = pretty sparse with the updates. Heres a shitload of life drawings though. Excuse the quality, they're just camera snaps. Some of em turned out ok, others I totally cringe at.

    Välkommen tillbaka kompis!
Ser jävligt bra och ambitiöst ut. Gillar verkligen post#97!

    Ems - Kramis!

    Also,
    Life drawing dump!
I think I kinda killed this sketchbook with silly amounts of crappy life drawings back in the day. I don't know how selective I should be.. I'll just dump the best of the bunch this time, so give a shout if you want to see the 'didn't quite make the cut' shit as well, kk? k.

Emily - Thanks! I've been a lazy boy though. Seeing how far everyone else has gotten while I've been lounging about being a bum makes me want to make up for lost time!

jatherip - Working on it! Hopefully there should be some progress in line quality showing between the early stuff and this year's harvest. I've still got a long way to go, though. My crappy lines get really obvious when I dabble with the inks. I've got proof too!

The sequential pages are an exercise in Line of Interest - same basic sequence of events, from different perspectives.

i think you could try some more non contour life drawings as well.

as far as practicing line of interest, print out some storyboard paper, and just storyboard some tv show, replacing the chars in the show with some easy cartoon show chars. it was a great exercise for me in both drawing the same chars over and over and paying attention to composition, line of interest, etc.

Holy shit! It's you! Great to see you coming back man! Dont beat yourself up too much about the lost time, you got 60+ years to practice haha! No crits right now, I think you should resume developing a nice routine first.

Emily - Sounds like a good exercise.. gonna try it out. Thanks!
I wonder if it'd do as much good with comics pages though.. much less active choices going on then. Oh well, probably gonna try that out too.

Faust - Hey old friend! I definately need to develop some good routines - accidentally saved over my 2500px original with the 500px web-version of last night's doodling. Not feeling so elite right now.

Ghosd - Thanks! The charcoal crayons are great fun.. you get some decent volumes going real fast with those.

Mag-Neo - Thanks man! I'll keep posting my life drawings then

I've spent more hours than I dare admit noodling back and forth with my values on this thing.. and ended up losing pretty much all movement and life it might have once had along the way. Oh, and I saved over my original with my web-version at one point. Crits would be awesome!

looks good! the figures feel a bit short though for such an epic drama going on i think the top part of the cape should have some more up and down "U" shapes following the shadow shapes. (i dunno if that make sense)

    Emily - Thanks, yeah.

Here's a couple silly ink exercises from last night - interpreting the shapes in other peoples' random pencil doodles. Lots of fun!

Emelie - Tycker vi får styra upp lite spontant kladdskissande nånn dag också. Man behöver ju inte hela royalist-ligan för att ha kul o vara lite produktiv ^^

Emily - I'll see what I can do.. I've got some other colours coming in for ya right here

dCepT - I've got a fresh batch of those from this monday night. I'll sort through 'em and scan the good stuff for sure.
