    Works in Progress

Made you guys work for the good stuff hehe...

-This is a lighting preliminary for my contest entry in the CGtalk challenge. This was also my first perspective project from this semester. Its in one point and is supposed to be a futuristic design.

This stuff is from last year, CG stuff modeled and textured in Maya.

    Architectural Waterslide Design

This was more of an industrial design project. It is a waterslide that I worked out with a floor plan and an elevation, and then put it into perspective. This is the frame and ill post the detailed one below it, this is also still in progress.

Here is the final version of this floorplan to perspective water slide project.

    CharacterExpressionSheet

This is an expression sheet of the character that I finally finished rigging and animating today. I cant believe how much work it took to get this guy to move but it finally paid off. This has been a great learning experience.

    RenderPose

Another dynamic render from the final rigged character with the prop from last semester. I might put the animation test on here too pretty soon.

wow that animated character is amazing.

the top left sketch is very unclear. I can't tell what it is. I really like that seal and that turtle though.

    Sheet2

This is sheet 2 from the life drawing in class figures. Almost all of these I drew with a ball point pen so they didnt transfer well.

    Master's Studies

Now that the semester has ended i had time to run over to the library and do some old master studies. Most of these are michalangelo's sculptures.

    nice works here!

I like the way you execute figure studies (Villpu´s method I think) - imho its the best approach of step by step anatomy learning / figure posing - not any too focused muscle studies without any reason (I saw them however too often on this forum)

Also liked the perspective sudies a lot!

you are on the right track - keep on working

Gestures From Tonite's Life Drawing Class

Rythm! I finally discovered visual rythm. While working with my professor Brian Kennon he showed me a way to quickly convey rythm on paper while drawing from life. These are the drawings that came out of this new concept.

These got cut off because they are too large to fit in my scanner.

This drawing shows only rythm so you can see what i mean

Some good stuff in here, gestures are great. If I were you though, i'd try and avoid using either dodge and burn or such minimalist shading, albeit it's quicker than most techniques, it doesn't look too great.
    Keep pushing!
