Home Alone --> Cute dog pic for my upcoming "Cats & Dogs Sketches" book.
I'm starting on this new painting for my new book "Cats & Dogs Sketches" --> avalible for pre-order here
The painting is called "Home Alone."
It's about a little dog that's left home alone so he decides to have a little fun.
Please stay tunned!

Yeah, very nice...I always found hair a pain to render. This chihuahua(sp) looks awefully demonic without it's eyes and mouth...almost like some evil smoke trailing out of the sockets heh, nice stuff

the photo reference you're using, is that puppy actually sitting on that chair?
Because the palette you've used for the dog doesn't seem in sync with the chair. Like the light source is a different light. The dog having a yellowish light and the chair having a bright white source. there's no harmony between the two. Maybe its just me.
Anyways, its coming out phenomenal. Cute little rascal.
Almost makes me want to get one for myself......well, almost.

wow, i am soooooo impressed.. i agree a bit with mono though, i mean the picture isn't bad, not at all, just that it have the potential to become better, i think that maybe if you put the dog in a leather chair and darken the light a bit, it would be a bit more cozy.. and the colors would interact more.. that is the kind of mood the dog gives me, while the chair might more fit for a pink pudel (is that the name in english? those fluffy dogs that you give haircuts to and drench in perfume and whatnot..)

The surprise appearance of the muddy paw prints make me laugh out loud. It certainly wasn't expected!
This would make a great mini-animation.

AWWWWWWWWWW, he's so freakin cute. *looks at puppy* But I must admit if he did that to one of my chairs, first I'd laugh and then I'd cry. He seems so life like, but I liked him better w/out the tounge, he looked smug and slightly devious.
Do not anger the Monalisa...wait, she can't do anything to me..YAY...*slides on wet floor* OOPS, I MISSED THE SIGN
