    Icon Virus scanners

    Hi,

    Created this cover illo for a Dutch magazine, to accompany an article about virus scanners.

    i would tone down the specularity of all your objects more as well as i wouldn't simply put noise onto a cylinder for your 'scanner.' looks like a cheap cop out. and use hue and value to focus your image. right now it's all very boring. you can bring the focal point into view by desiging your space more

    I quite like it .. cool idea.

    Maybe have the bachground & the green thing (the scanner) more detailed.

    Must use different colours IMO.
    Dark Blue & dark red .. or so .

    Thanks for your comments guys. I actually wanted to keep it simple, with bright colors and an almost graphical style. Hence also the straightforward cylinder with the noise map.
