danny, are u trying to show me up?
guess im going to have to put aside design for a couple hours and draw.
good stuff man i really dig it especially the face. the gear is rad and i look forward to more stuff.
that fucking rocks! i want more!!
heres stuff ive been posting on the sketches page.. . .not sure if youre allowed to post the same stuff on more than one page though.. . .comments are great and very much appreciated
In the original pic, his right shoulder seems just a tad pushed forward. If that is the look you are going for, I would rotate the shoulders a bit so his left shoulder recedes a bit.
I really like the sketches though, very good work.
some more drawings. a few of them are older because i just got around to scanning them. hope you enjoy. .. ..comments are still great.. . .
Wow, I really like this second subission metalwinds. Very good stuff here. I especially like the bald, cloaked figure. He just has a sense of leadership.
comments? anyone. .anyone.. . .... .
la la la
havent posted in a few days, so i ll post what i got right now.. .

e-gads yo, that painting is off the hizzle!
lol you should teach me how to paint
OMG those are great and you have great presentation, i like the guy with the red bg the best. post some more...
hey danny, are you doing anything more with the assassin's energy blade? Cause you should tie that in to a piece, that'd be rad....make the blade the same colour as his arm lights....that'd be rad ::all dreamy eyed::
been drawing, just havent been scanning. finally got around to it. please comment.. .
danny man i am really jealous of the almost instantaneous progress you are making with the markers. i really think with some more practice you will really be able to enhance your drawings ten fold. i also really enjoy the cahrcoal process you have been using. the second charcoal drawing is my favorite eveer. hahaha
we'll get it soon, we just have to keep pushing
worked on some robot designs. ...first attempt
started drawing some legs.. ..no reference for the anatomy study
danny im glad you posted, good to see some drawing
as of right now o dont see anythings wrong with them, i like the designs and i noticed that you drew the legs so im proud of you. lets see more
looking good danny. i like the addition of legs still and the playing with the same concept in different postions. teh only problem i have is with the pilot looking chick on page 4. something about the hips bug me but i cant pinpoint it. please keep posting and i will put some up soon.
hahah, love the dwarvish guy.
Really like the robot in #3 head dress is great too!
In the #4 there's some funky anatomy in the arms of the guy his uper arms don't seem to fit the head, as well as the right arms forearm.
Actually it may be the whole upper torso that's oddly proportioned.
I think your improving, keep it up
danny, man it is good to see that one of us has actually been scanning, and i enjoy what you have been scanning. htere is some really creative stuff going on, i love the new age samurai guy thats cool. for the most part i love everything, i think the old zombie dude on page 4 could use some work, mainly defining the fingers or their shadows so you can tell it is the fron t of the hand and not a blob and the arm will read better. but thats just me and im nobody to crit so later
ill scan soon as i get back in town with new drawings i hope
lemme know what you think
tried using a pen. ..i really dont like the 2 to the right.. .
you make it hard for me to want to draw sometime let alone update but im about to do that too. whatever anyway i am so glad that you are postin g alot it is good to see that you have got yourself some amrkers. the experimentation with the pens is good to see too. if you dont like them now just keep doing them and by all means post the experiements. off to update. chris
all your drawings are really good. i've noticed that you sometimes draw heads that look a little short in width (from the forehead to the back of the skull i mean, not from temple to temple). also, you sometimes draw women with flat chests, although that might be intentional.
great work. you do seem to improve fast, looking at the first stuff you posted and the stuff you're posting now!
another richmond guy! (i live in burnaby.)
thanks for commenting guys. the women dont have flat chests, but when they have some kind of armor or something it makes their breasts look smaller. some of the heads are a little short in width, even though i know the proportions of the head.. .which makes me wonder why i did that.. .. will be updating again soon
any more comments???
i quite like those last pen sketches, maybe throw some marker in with that style(sketchy rather than clean outline)..try a few like that, see how they come out..
also try not to hard outline shadows with your pen/pencil..i noticed it on a few of your earlier drawings..It dosent do your drawing style justice IMO..
