I thought that the UK actually got Castlevania before us this time around... no? I'll pick it up if I can today, but today (4th) is shipping day, so chances are most stores won't carry it until tomorrow.

    I'm allll about this game!

The GBA ones didn't hold up to Symphony of the Night but, this one looks like it may have the same fun factor!

I just picked it up today. So far so good. The color schemes, animation, backgrounds, and music seem superior to the GBA Castlevanias in every way. There are a lot more minute details sprinkled throughout. Too bad carpal tunnel keeps me from being able to play more than 45 minutes at a time. At any rate, if what I've played so far is any indication this one will definately blow away CotM, HoD, and AoS. Now if they would start making these 2-D adventure games for consoles again...

Glad to see 2D still alive. Now if they could just make Mario 2D again... 3D Mario is just...blasphemy!

oh yeah, this games rocks big time. The whole reason I got a DS in the first place was for this badboy. The stylus isnt used all that much, but when it is, its pretty sweet, like being able to scrape away ice blocks, or drawing in runes that are required to defeat a boss with. I also heard that Alucard becomes a playable character in this one......

This game is awesome so far! --- I'm a good 4 hours in, but I don't wanna complete it yet ---- gonna spend some hours tracking down all the little hidden things (who needs sleep right?)

They really cranked up the visuals... the GBA ones were pretty and really pushed the GBA --- but they're actually using sprites from Symphony on this one, and the resolution is only like a 15 pixel difference ---- So yea, looks damn fine

The difficulty is a nice ballance - about what Aria was ... I haven't been leveling up like crazy so some bosses have gotten too me ...... The zombie-dino boss is classic

Yeah, that's the best Castlevania boss since Granfaloon in SoTN. I also really like the puppet master boss... so cool. If this game is any indication of what to expect from Metroid Dread...

Ya, the dino is hard --- stay back, and when he dips down to jump just run at him and slide right when you're about to touch his feet.
Get enough hits on him and *spoiler?* (he'll break the ground falling all the way through the tower floors --- you get to smack the crap out of him the whole damn way )

... Slime-sould on bosses, damn didn't think of this...

anyone find any good secrets yet??

The Yeti soul is awesome LOL ---- get the 'waiter-skeleton' soul that serves curry and go out to the start of the game - you'll see the Yeti wandering in the background - serve him some curry, then beat his soul out of him

Those $$$ rooms that take some unlocking - I found that they match the #'s of the last 3 digits in your cash --- managed to get into one of 'em

easy-goin' so far, but there's a pool of water with spikes that I can't pass - it has a dip, but you get spiked and can't pass it any pointers???
I just got the batt company soul about 4 hours into the game.

    Thumbs up

I'm a good 70% through the game and in the foot steps of Resident Evil 4 the team behind this did a great job of building on what was already good about the series and leveling the gameplay up to make it better.

This is a true Sequal to Symphony of the Night.

They can stop making the 3D ones if they aren't going to make on as good as this game.

    Very Cool Indeed.

Is it worth getting a DS just for this game? There's alot of nice DS games out now, but I always thought "I never play portable games portable". The GBA I just played sitting at home, so it seemed a waste.
