    few artworks + general news

    hello peeps

just wanted to share these latest personal artworks with you. the two first ones aren't completely finished, but i will be pretty much occupied for the next weeks and didn't want to bury them deep in my mess.
and it's now official, i resigned from Ubisoft in Montreal last week in order to join ID software in Dallas.
i will be extremely sad leaving this city that has meant a lot to me for the last two years. quebec guys are the finest ever. and i will have to say goodbye to all my ubi friends, hydropix, barontieri, vyle, viag, patrick simonak, seb rainart, as well as all the others. i really want to thanx every one of them for all these great moments we've had for the last two years.

    cya in dallas!

very very nice. i must say, i like ow the background elements fade in detail and intensity the further they are. and still the foreground elements retain crispness.

makes me realize i have yet alot to learn about depth.

very nice stuff Sparth - your sense of scale in your recent posts is incredible. All of the little bits along the edges, scaffolding and what not - are those just custom brushes? It's a very cool technique. Good luck at Id, I'm sure the work you do there will be mind-blowing as usual, I can't wait till we get a taste of it.

Congrats on your new job, sparth. And christ, these new pieces... I feel smaller looking at these images, the scale puts the viewer right in there. Great stuff.
