    Adam's book...update, April 28th...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NEW STUFF AT THE BOTTOM.....

Hey everyone, i'm new here so I thought i'd make a sketchbook to get me rolling. Hopefully I will be motivated to post new stuff often.

This first group of work is a collection of fairly recent sketches. Thanks for any comments!

Thanks sly! Here's some studies I did this week from Giovanni Civardi's book, "Drawing Human Anatomy". Not really sure who this guy is, but his work is pretty good and its one of the only anatomy books I have. Need to buy some Hogarth and Loomis I think...

A couple more things to post. I have a quite few sketches but I cant get access to a scanner/camera at the moment so these are all right now.

This is a quick DSG I did in the week....

...and this is my C.O.W entry.

Really nice.. Your humans are lacking some areas of anatomy, it will come though! Allso work on those hands i can see some errors with them length wise and proportion wise...

You enviromental/perspective studies have a real strength to them and a few rendering excercises could really beef up the pencil work.

Hello, yAdam. Thank you for sharing your art with us, I looked with a great interest, the most appealing to me are

I like the C.O.W entry very much. It's very unusual character and you painted it beautifully. I absolutely love the surrounding you put it in, the colors, the whole manner in which you did this peace. It's great!

Asgauardian, cheers man! I hear what you are saying about rendering, its something I am looking at more closely now.

Heartbeat, Thanks! and they are all from my head

Sve, they are pretty interesting choices. Especially the arctic carnivore, I dont like it at all. But I suppose most or all artists end up not liking some of their work, especially old stuff.

nice work man, i especially like your EOW's. Careful with the glow on some of your lights, remember placement, cause some of them bring light where they shouldn't.
    Good shit.
