    Dragon Rider

Alright, so I need some crits on this one, before I start coloring it. I followed some tips some people gave me on my sketchbook when I posted it. Tell me what can I do to make it better. Also, while drawing it I realized she's sitting on a scaly dragon....naked. So what could I put on her to make it seem less....painful?

That breast areola looks like she needs to see a doctor.
The dragon looks very rough in concept, and very rough in execution, not matching the girl at all.
You can draw a small satin pillow under her ass, or a handkerchief, but until you get a better dragon, she's best left on her own (after calling her plastic surgeon about the breast thing...)

Well, the first thing I notice about the dragon is it seems like the scales are going backwards. Look at a snake. All the scales flow from the head back to the tail, overlapping so that there's a grain. If you run your hand along the snake head-to-tail, it's smooth. This looks backwards, like you'd just shred your hand.

Another idea is to go for more rounded, smooth scales like on a gecko or anole, rather than go for the bearded dragon lizard look. That would be... Well, not *comfortable,* but a lot less painful than the sharp scales you have going on would be.

Though if you have a girl that thin with breasts that large, the fact that she's sitting on a dragon is the least of her worries. It's mostly just a style thing with me, but I've always disliked the over-endowed-fantasy-female. But it's your style, so draw whatever you want.

alright, I'll fix the scales, thanks.

About the girl though, I didnt made her up, I had a reference picture for the body, and she does look like that (All porn stars with a boob job have exagerated boobs, not really my fault there...)

That is an excellent point. They looked real even though they were fake, you know?

But I try to avoid porn as a place to get reference photos from, even though it's widely available. I find that women who are unaugmented allow for a more correct view of anatomy from the get-go.

But then, I have boobies, so I kinda have a ready-made reference.

For something called dragon rider, I feel the dragon is recieving too little space in the image. I think it will be better if you transfer it to a bigger paper and draw a dragon close-up by her side. Or simply have the dragon as a secondary object and have him a distance away in the background - but showing most of his body.

So, I fixed the areola, changed and fixed the scales, made the dragon bigger, and added a piece of cloth th her butt. So is there any last changes I could make before I start coloring it?

I'd suggest cutting away a bit off the left edge to remove the negative space. Just my two cents.

Maybe I came in too late to be saying this, but the comment about the nipple thing is actually not so...a lot of women have bigger areolas. Particularly in the porn industry, so the way it was before was not "incorrect" persay, it just may have not been that poster's cup o' tea. There's a lot of debate over the attractiveness of that look, but it's such a subjective issue that I think it doesn't matter at'tall.

yay the many diverse boobies of the world.

diverse is fine, but in general, dinner plate sized areolas just aren't that attractive. The reason you see so much of it in the porn industry is due to the proliferation of breast implants, which by nature also stretch the areolas...

Unless this piece is intended for the average porn viewer, I think it looks nicer now as a "less extreme" focal point to the work...

"Subjective" is what EVERY opinion is in these forums, or am I missing something here?

Started coloring the dragon. I'm a newbie at digital coloring, so go easy on me. Also, all I have is PS7, so a critique on just the dragon right now will do.
