Nice site, but perhaps you shouldn't have "I created this website to promote myself as a professional artist" on your front page, looks unprofessional.

Well, good luck, and I hope you get some well paying clients through the site.

    i couldn't agree more!
always act like you ARE professional, even if you aren't.
you basically labled yourself as a non-professional right on the front page.
why would someone hire a non-professional?

i've never actually done brain-surgeory before, wanna pay me to try?

hmmm... no this isn't my taxi, im only 12.... hop in!

The colours are really too strong, maybe tone them down a little? The high contrast is annoying.

i agree with the rest. the page is quite simple, maybe special effects like hovers and such will make it more appealing. however.. the drawings are great, i love them, you're extremely talented. keep up the good work, maybe get some one else to do your site. but hey, its the thought that counts right? a for effort, hah.

    I must concure.

You are definatly doing yourself down. The site looks amature and unsophisticated. Which is a shame as some of the art is good and I'm sure you will find work but this does you no favours.
Do not approch "A" list clients 'till you have fixed it. First impressions count. You should completely ditch the first page, alter the colours and thin out the pictures. Back in the olden days of manual portfolios 6 good pictures would be enough to get most jobs.
