I like that a lot! Somehow the simplicity works for me, though if this was a character design for a client, the coloring job may not give enough information. I usually think of a character design as something your clients can look at as reference for everything else. But if it was approved, they obviously liked it.

Personally I really like this, my only crit is that I'd like the design in the wallpaper to be sharp like everything else, instead of blurry. The blur doesn't really fit, to me. I love the crazy anatomy and hair.

thanks for the comment, really appreciate it
The client had the full bible of the character, and they didnt ask for colors since they had one doing the coloring for the whole project, I dont have any idea whats the colors scheme thats why I made it one color, this picture wasnt shown for the client, it was what you call ( just for fun)
I do agree with you on the blurry thing, BUt I was afraid that If I made it sharp I will lose the contrast of the character. maybe I should try fixing it.
    thanks again

    I like!

Nice work, IMO though these things I probably would have done differently:

-wrists look a little weak compared to rest of arms (thicker maybe?)
-front hand is at odd angle, and back hand looks a little big
-curve throught the mid section of the torso, is nice but a little too curved
-pelvis area looks a little strange- pelvic bone bulges instead of depressing
-shift the colour of the character so he is either more similar to the bg colour or shift him so he is farther apart... looks a little awkward now

but ovearall nice work- I like the character, and dig the style.

    thanks for sharing,

    Mike

Thats awesome work man - it looks inspired from the Capcom artists' work (I see Akuma here!).

Don't blame you though, their work kicks ass!

    Keep it up man.
