How would this subject relate to doing a concept for the real world, whether it be game, film, or television? Based on the wording of this week's C.O.W. I'm going to pass... Well...enjoy it, guys. See you next week.

Carnifex already mentioned it, there are shit eaters on our planet...i don't know what the problem is...???

I guess you need a topic like "pink happy creature jumping around and spreading love to the masses"...

hahahaaha......just had to inject my edit there.

Okay. So i was thinkin' the same question - how does this 'shit eater' apply to the real world, but then again, i've had to draw some pretty wild shit that makes me question, "How the hell does that happen?" Yes, i'm (not) proud to say i have several illustrations in the nationally acclaimed 'surgery of the colon, rectum, and anus' 2nd edition. Some of those drawings (and photo refs) were not pink or happy, but i did what i was told because it was a paying gig. That said, if a paying client asked you to draw a shit eater, then it's up to you to decide whether it is a payin' gig or not.

Btw, a fellow med illustrator turn comic artist made her transition doing works on penetration with various sex toys. yep....paid gigs. She's an odd bird, so it's right up her alley, but damn she's cool.

    peace! d

Yeah, you could use the Old English form of the word 'shit' which is 'scitte' - no one would ever know.
Okay....I've got to get my shit together and get back to work before my boss shits a brick.

    Termites eat wood -
    sounds just as wierd right?

    Crabs eat sand -
    sounds wierd too right?

There are certain creatures on our planet that "supposedly" eat something but what they are actually doing is using it to FILTER out the nutrients.

Termites have smaller parasites inside of thier bodies that break the wood down into a nutrient

The crab I'm speaking of eats the sand, filters it for all the nutrients that might be inside of it and spits it back out in a round ball as fresh sand.

All Joking aside, this concept could be very plausible. Think of a fly??? or maggots.. Think about why creatures eat what they eat or behave the way they do.

Good idea.. but, nah... screw euphemisms : P
EDIT: I mean, its not like its something to be so surprised about, as pointed above a lot of animals eat shit and other stuff that would be "wierd" from a human perspective. Shit eater sounds strange? Make it look plausible! : P

I'm sorry for jumping into this, but the final quote you made, Fozzy, sounds very elitist. Teigrob asked a question and you response of stating what Carnifex said is perfectly valid. The final sounds very much like a "You don't belong here anyway."

I'm not trying to stir up trouble, but it bothers me and so I've said my piece.

Thank you for taking the time to do the C.O.W. subjects.
