Strange coincidence that every man whose skull has been opened had a brain.

just because you won't work on it anymore, and think you're finished with it, doesn't mean it belongs in the "finished works" section.

i'm sure everyone else will tell you the same. the finished works section is for advanced and pro level "finished" works. i know the title of the section is a bit ambiguous, but you won't get the responses you want for this piece in this section.

that being said, everything seems cramped on the page. you've drawn a big thing (house) in such a tight, little box. expand your borders and it will look better. you're also missing any kind of shading and value, so it's just really flat, no depth. and the characters are in motion, but you're not really showing any movement.

if i were you i would consider this just a start, rather than a finished drawing.

Hey dog. . . . did you see the size of that chicken?!

Prehistoric: Seriously, I'm finished, I'll let the moderators put it in the Less Than Advanced or Professional Quality Forum. As for now any good criticism I get will be considered for all future work. You offer some valuable criticism except for your comment "the characters are in motion, but you're not really showing any movement." How would I do that, Dust trails and parentheses that indicate vibration? And how would you know they were in motion if I haven't shown any movement? Just curious and always seeking to improve.

    Thanks for the comment!

one thing i think you really need is a more telling use of lineweight
it seems looks almost like you did an overlay. however when you do an overlay you dont trace your drawing underneath to clean it up. you still gotta treat it like a drawing, infact you should do a tight overlay quickly unless its a tight mechanical rendering of a mechanical object. even though this house is a mechanical thing its animated here so you need to use your thick and thin line to show what is going forward and what is going backwards.

As a mans power and knowledge grows so the paths he may choose lessen more and more until he can choose only and whole what he must do.
time to follow the trend: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...14#post1052814
