++ Emooe :Sketches and studies things that interest me ++

    --------------------------------------------
    welcome to EMOOE's Sketchbook
    --------------------------------------------

    Hi guys,
Lets start a sketchbook I thought, Lets post all the drawings and paintings I do, and lets start to see an improvement. Let me know what you think anywhere along the way.

My plan is too study, draw , paint and observe in my free time. Then later move into design as much as possible.. and head my sites to the concept art arena of freelance work.

Any Critism is most welcome and appreciated.

nice heads. think you have quite a good feeling of proportions. think ur face expressions could be better.

    Keep running ur pencil!

Nice expressions, I can see proportions are exaggerated, but the neck on the bottom left guy looks too fat, maybe not angled at the right position?
Also, another tip, there's no nudity in the sketchbook, (topless guy doesn't really count) so maybe taking off the nudity warning will bring more viewers. Post more, 1 page isn't enough to crit your work, enjoy your stay!

EDIT - I guess you beat me to it with the new page

Asoir Thanks for stopping by .. I'll Leave the nudity on there I guess, as she is topless and I have some life drawing chalk nudes to scan. Hope people still come

Your right about the proportions, It's a strange neck. I have trouble placing the neck after drawing the head.

    wow, these are cool.
Think there are to many edges and it's sqaure on the second. But is a nice way of artistic freedome. Get some more details on the foreground. and size it to 1280x800px and i will use it as wallpaper *G*

The latest speedpainting kicks ass! Only thing is I'd like to see something more defined in the foreground. The black stuff (trees) on the right hand side is a bit dominant IMO.

    Keep 'em coming!

nice drawing, maybe should do something more often too. i know it's fun *G*
Think your cap is good. Colors are very nice, and it looks like plastic. I especially like the small grooves(correct me if my english is senseless).
But i am not sure about the perspective...

hey, man,.. i just wanted to stop by and check out your book.. you have some really good stuff going on here.... What im about to tell you im sure you have heard and read a million times.. draw from life.. i cant even start to explain how much it has helped me in my art... The other advice I can give you is to observe, listen, and work hard.... conceptart is a great place for you to learn the skills you need... its really like an academy... You could learn color theory, how to draw heads, perspective, painting techniques, computer softwarre techniques and everything else under the sun concerning art... I will say one thing.. you have a very nice linework... and that will get you pretty far... its somethig less you have to worry about... anyways... good luck... I hope to have you a member of the team...

Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd

I drew more Cafe people today which ill post later.. Its gret fun, and challenging.
Life drawing clases start soon, which im really looking forward to.

Your building up a nice sketchbook here Emooe. I particuarily like your portraits. They have alot of character and realism to them. Keep it up.

Have faith, these things should never be easy.

Less lines... try to concentrate more on the overall shape and position of features to their relative space... blind contours are great for this... keep on going.. worry about all the crazy details later.. try and focus on the major points for now... aftet this move onto mass.... your doing great.. i like the fishies..

    Hi guys,
    Update:
Going to basics, learning from the loomis books. Really fantastic resourse and explanations. Getting the manakin frame memorised and in my head before moving on to muscles.. taking it in stages.

Huge huge errors in some of them, but a couple turned out ok.. the order is wrong so progression can't be seen as well.. but hey.

Yo sup dude, took my time huh?
nice studies, good to see you dig into loomis, he's very good, is that bridgman studies? Make sure you watch your proportion, some of them have shorter lower half, don't worry too much about messy lines, it will all be good once you get used to it. Looking very good!!!
