I'm liking the armored guy with the shield/spear. The design of windows on the toned paper is nice too. Do I see a hint of Marko's influence on the characters? 8)

Overall, you have some really neat concepts. I would say, however, that, while you need it less than I do, you need to work on your anatomy. It's really the only problem that can see. Great job, keep posting!

hey corky.... a new sketchbook? cool.

what are the architectural sketches for? a private project or just for fun?

Here some advise: In order to support the weight of the wall, ceilings...etc above a window the stones that are very next to the window have to follow its curve. Their function is to lead the weight to the side and then downwards to the foundation (or whatever might be below). In order to do so these stones have to be (as a rule of thumb) as high as the wall is thick.

So what does that mean for you? Make the stones above your window higher. That way it looks more plausible.

here is a pic to show you what I mean:
    www.anticontent.com/2004_eng/pics/wasigen042.jpg

you can also "lead" the weight with the window frame itself:

Zorg - Hmmm..although i have to say he is one of my favourite charater designers i try to avoid copiing his stile...

Sedig - Word ! I have to get back in a life-clas sometime. Im still so unconfident with poses etc. I can draw a man standing upright but i fail when it comes to dynamic and more interesting poses

ApolloNuevo - i will see what i can du for you

johnny78 - now thats what i call a "constructive" advice thank you man Oh and the windows as well as the knight are both for a Mod-Projekt

Pencilator - Thanks buddy But still i need to do a LOT of exercise to get at least more confident with my lines ^^°

    doodled this , this evening......something like a 30min job...way too long i guess <_<

I like the eyes and the mood in the face of the sad looking man. All in all It reminds me a bit of your older abstract compositions.

    hey corky,

amazin stuff here, picture #12 and #18 really stand out from the rest. Picture #12 has great shading, and pencil technique. The face in the middle of the page looks great! Picture #18 is really dramatic, that eye, freaky

    keep it up dude!

Hey, I love that face. Nice shading. Which pencil did you use? The last one has a great expression. I really feel the energy and anger of the guitarplayer. But he has some anatomical mistakes. The hands look...weird ;-). The soulders look a bit strange. he has to wear a jacket with shoulderpads to get them look like this. The guitar looks not correct too. Did you use a reference?

Great work. Only thing to crit: the ear is to far back on the head. Move it one or two centimeters towards the face. Does she really have that tatoos?

hey, awesome techy/goth stuff you have there. and the gift to your gf is also bloody good!

one thing i've noticed in two or three of your peices is that proportions and spacing on drawing heads sideways is a bit off. you draw heads a bit too short and the foreheads too high
