The clouds on the top watercolor really feel as if they are moving. Nicely done, Shyam. Do you have any figures in watercolor? It would be great to see them.

This without a doubt one of my favorite sketchbooks here. I'd want to see more anatomical studies and pencil drawings from you cause they are something that I can really learn from. I especially like the eye drawings on the first page. There are propably a few pages in my sketchbook that I can't post here cause they resemble quite like yours (for some reason).

    hey.
i love the way you think of and draw the things in volumes
instead of just plainly only the shape itself. i can see that
especially in your animal and hand studies.
very impressive and inspiring for me. thanks a lot!

    by the way,

i'd mention it. jai siva namah!

GREAT sketchbook! I've been here a few times, looking for something constructive to say..but I have nothing but praise. You definetly have your own style developing, and solid drawing skills. Those last watercolors are beautiful..very striking.
keep posting so I can lay down some more lovely words for ya!

I really stick to your way of constructing the shapes. It´s very interesting to look at your gesture and animal scribbles, because it is so totally different from how I do it

And what I like second most is that you aren´t afraid of working in different drawing styles, because artists won´t jump from one extreme to another.

Sweet! Thanks Shyam, that would be so cool! Of course, it'd be even cooler if I could hang over your shoulder and pester you with questions, but this'll do. Now go get that camera!

Lovely vector stuff - I never got into that either. One of these days...

Shyam, I love the illo of the little girl writing in the book, with pages flying out, its very gentle and the colors are calm and soft- a beautiful piece; the vector styles too are very nice, liking them alot....

...and the same to you - keep at it!

You've got an amazing feel to form. Superb classic style. It would be intresting to see something more stylished from you... ?

wow- killer vector work. That's very hard to do...
Those studies are great...I'm loving the hand studies particularly. Are those from ref?
I can't quite figure out your method of dissecting hands (drawing wise) - Did you study Bridgman ? They look great though
    keep posting!

sorry for being so unclear..i'm a moron

it looks almost as if you put down a very simple skeletal structure first..and than build ontop. I dunno....it just looks like an interesting breakdown of shape and form is happening. Probably the best way to find out is if I fly over your shoulder and watch you draw. hang on..I'll be there in a second

Aha, you posted some of the older illustrations! Good good. Not pathetic at all.
Keep collecting hands, your studies are already very advanced. Will there be feet after this?
