Love the paints, man. Thanks for the progress! It's always cool to see how people work. The sketches are nice too. I look how loose and quick they seem to be. Isn't CA.org great for inspiration? I love this place. I can't even remember what life was like before I found it and made my home here! HA! It's great! Keep it up!

Really likin this new stuff, I agree thats its good to approach different styles as drawing is supposed to be fun. I myself get bored an feel stale if dont keep switchin an it helps bring ideas you might not have considered if you worked in just one style, but thats just my opinion.... Keep it up.... Inspiring stuff

Damn, there's so much artlike goodness in here, i don't know what to talk about first! Even with the light sketchy prelim lines, your sketches have such a clean quality to them. The hands that you draw are the best I've seen, so far. Incredible. The blue girl on the moon is sweet. Is this from Indian mythology or folklore? Please forgive my ignorance. I really enjoyed looking through your thread, I'll be back for more.

Hello, shyamshriram. I like the first one and the third one a lot. In the rainbow marathon those clouds are so lovely, and I like the figure and an attitude of the boy.
In the second the composition doesn't look appealing to me, girl's figure is kind of stiff, not the best pose.
The painter's hand (where he is touching the cloud), I would probably change it. Not the best for body language in my opinion.
In general, very nice childhood associations .

P.S. Before going to draw models I always sit in your thread and look very carefully at your work. It helps me tremendously. Thanks many times. I'm learning a lot from you.

Definitely, your very versital, there's a lot of space on these, is there going to be type as well? They would make great childrens book illustrations. I like how you juxtapose old and new in your illustrations. No denying your skills.

I'm curious though since you jump around a lot depending on the job, which style feels more like you?

Oh, do you know this girls work? I think she does an interesting mix of old and new in her work, I especially like her installations. She was one of my favorites in the Art 21 series. I know you guys are coming from different places but I see some similarities in some of your illustrations where you combine traditional with modern.

Thanks again for stopping in to my book, I really appreciate the support.

I love the rat soldier, even though the tail is a little short. Usually a rat as a tail as long as it's body. Cool work once again.

Good work Man. I'm not sure about the Predatoresque creature though you can do better than that. Keep it up

Oh, this last one is lovely. I like she has entangled, not combed hair, heavy eyelids, the expression of face, makes her very personal. Would you like to add more individual, not general features? It makes an impact on viewer even bigger. Love the whole composition on paper. Love the motion of teared book.
    Thank you

you got skills dude. i really love your life drawings. the forms are fantastic. where can i learn about the techniques you are employing within these? ie, how you are "blocking" and "rounding" out your forms so accurately.

    regards

This is very good, and hard work here. I seem to love the way you dont make the undersketching light, you show what you have done, which is good! You have a good imagination which always helps.

Most of your work is controlled but some are very loose, not sure if thats good or bad. Keep on drawing and posting!

I'd love to see some more Indian flavoured stuff from you. Durga (did I spell that right), the Mahabharat and what have you. You've got the locations and characters. Let's see 'em!

Thanks for the posts in my SB

Really nice stuff here bud - I really like the stuff with movement. Have a go at capturing that movement through the z axis too so things are not just moving around on the canvas surface.

Some really nice, strong line quality here too

    Keep posting
