    Saint Sword

    Hello guys

This is my last illustration that I recently done.
This pic show one of the 5 character of my comic. The name of this character is Herik
I was inspired by my biggest preferred videogame character of ever, so that's why I changed his armor instead the full plate that I put always on him in the page of my book.

So please let me know something on it.

Like always I done this pic in 3 different layers, one for the character and 2 for the background.

rawr.. that linework is sweet. theres something funky going on with his left leg, however, particularly around his calf, ankle and foot.

    the piece looks magnificent!
one crit tho..about the sword handle, is it me or i cant see the handle at all as it looks very thin and slim to me, just that a big sword (must be a heavy one) should have a stronger bigger handle..other than that looks great!!

While the stylization is very striking, you've got perspective errors all over the place. The background perspective doesn't agree with itself (left and right towers), nor with the figure (eye level at knees), and even the figure is off (the feet). The sword is right out (compare the hilt and blade).

Edit: when I say "towers", I don't mean the two pokey things that look alike (they jibe nicely), but the two keeps aren't quite on the same eye level.

What's wrong with the towers? They look fine to me.

I don't see any error in the background, I done a construction of the basic line of the element in the background, like towers and other things that I put there.

I re-thouced the sword handle and the hand of the character, plus the feet, I think that now it would be good.

I would have other comments to understand what's wrong and how I could adjust the things that aren't good.
