    Question A question

I found something I dont really know what happening.

A professor applied and received a grant to conduct a theoretical software assurance research project. The goal is to determine the methods by which error-free software produced on a large-scale basis. He doesnt consider it is a viable Industry program.
I dont really understand these statements. Do anyone know what happens with these sentences? Do the professor do something wrong?

Reads like bad Engrish, but it's basically legalese mixed with business-speak...
A professor applied for, and recieved a grant.
The grant will fund the professor conducting a research project about Theoretical Software Assurance.
The goal is to determine HOW (the methods by which) error-free software IS(missing) produced on a large-scale basis.
He (the Professor) does not consider it AS a viable Industry program.

The professor is getting paid to research and determine whether "Software Assurance" is possible or not, by figuring out how error-free apps are mass produced. The professor wants to use the money to prove that Software Assurance is not a money maker.

The professor has submitted a grant proposal stating what he wanted to show, why, and how, and has received money to go do it.

I can also read and understand stereo instructions...lol!

"Error-free software" sounds like "perpetual motion machine", or "don't worry; it happens to all men sometime".
