I'm having a problem with Photoshop CS2 that I've never had before. When I paint a stroke quickly (with either my Intuos3 tablet or a normal mouse), the stroke comes out as a series of straight lines.
This was a single smooth stroke with my Intuos3 4x5 and Photoshop CS2, using one of the standard hard brushes with reasonably low spacing. I don't notice this when I paint or draw slowly, but the quicker I paint, the more these line segments become stretched out. Very annoying. Almost like Photoshop is only detecting what direction my stylus is going every few fractions of a second, and filling in with straight lines between. (I know Photoshop does this, of course. But it should be detecting the directions much more frequently, right?)
Could anyone help me solve this problem? It's really getting on my nerves. Thanks so much!
