    homecoming - fantasy illustration

This is the first one of an upcoming series of illustration for a fantasy novel.
As this is the first one (it will be the last illustration of the novel) I am more than happy about any crits or comments.
Thanks folk, and keep rocking conceptart...

All the overlapping diagonal areas on the groud remind me of misty effects in 3d computer games, pretty neat. As much as I'm questioning just how airbrushed it looks, I'm very much feeling the atmosphere.

Lookin' good. I think the light in the lantern could get blown out a little more, and the rim light on the figure could be a little crisper.

    good job though, mate.

Lewiston- my man.. whats up? Looking good here.. I like the simplicity of it.. I agree with the lantren comment as well. I think you could probably bring it out a bit more and maybe add a bit of light on the lantern post. the mood is great... I look foward to seeing the rest... You still working on that car scene???

Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd
