    War worm

hi! this worm is a gaurdian. It is for a turn based strategy game. It is simple in design because we are using low poly figures. but thats beside the point. I have two versions posted .the bottom one has an orange glow.
the problem is, I know it should be there. I just don't know if it looks o.k.
any opinions would be much appreciated.

oh NICE worm, I like. You're right, the orange glow SHOULd be there... but your execution is a little flat. Maybe use the lasso tool and draw in gradients to make the light go around the creature's teeth.

    I wouldn't normally compliment a man on his worm....but that's pretty impressive.

Its pretty nice, and I agree with panda about the glow. I also think the sky lacks a certain quality that would make this piece more atmospheric. Some rendering and misty diffusion of the clouds maybe. Its also hard to tell if there is electrical light in the backgroud, or merely a slit of moon/sun light. Cool scales and legs on that thing tho.

mr. punch I think the worm is inside a cave, with the cave opening in the background. and a whole where the light is coming through....at least thats the way i drew it. but the way you described it, it does look like a sky.

I see it now. That actually looks pretty neat as a cavern. But its confusing. I'm not too sure what I'd suggest, but I'll think about it. Whats the actual size of the piece?
