    Red face Here goes...

Hello all, decided to start a sketchbook cos i could use all the help i can get!

I did art at school to final year but never kept it up (i'm now a medical student). I've always doodled to relax but have had my interest in getting better re-kindled by my boyfriend who introduced me to this site! So I'll only post my pics from OpenCanvas just now until I get my scanner working and can show you my pencil sketches :-) These are done with a mouse not a tablet so details like hands and faces are tougher than usual but any comments, good or bad, are really welcome!

    Cheers guys :-)

http://www.imageshack.us, click upload, choose the pic and copy the link with [img] tags in it, good luck.
Also, keep the images relatively small, we don't really like scrolling to see every detail, thanks!

    Hi there!

You are not supposed to upload you pics from there, that seccion
is used just as a showcase of your best paintings and works,
use a external host such as:

    http://www.imageshack.us/

    http://www.photobucket.com/

    Good Luck!!

You are not using the proper adress, rigth click on your image and click on
"view image", and use that adress.

    P. S. and make you images smaller rember less is more
a size of resolution of 80 pixel/inches, and a heigth of
20 to 24 pixels is more than a good size to show your work
other wise we cant apreciate the images as a whole

ah, well, not much to really crit. try using more solid line work, and try mixing up the colors a bit more, perhaps even a blot of yellow right in the middle of a prodominatley cold-colored peice.

Hello, Kim. I like an orange figure, playful baby and the first of your portraits. Post more. I think it would be fun to try to play with the background more.
    Regards, Sveta

I find eyes really hard to make look real, there's just always something not quite right! Anyone got any handy tips on the subject?
