should work fine if you have a good video card, and ur processor is fast enough..
Thanks im running at about 1.8 Ghz with a Intel Extreme Graphics II Card.
that does sound a lil low.... taking into account that ur video is gonna steal half of your ram.... and xp the other half.....
im not too familiar with laptop processors. but 256 ram minus video minus xp cache .. sounds bad for painter wet brushes,
Jin or ne1 else wanna take a shot here?

I just baught a 6x8 Intuos2 tablet for my laptop. I run a low end Athalon 64bit processor.
It was a little sluggish at first but was fine once I upgraded my machine to 1G of memory.
Hope this helps.

Since processors are generally pretty fast the number one thing to upgrade for graphics work is RAM. 256MB in minimum for WinXP alone. Forget graphics without at least 512MB and dang it, if you want to be serious get 1GB, it's a whole different world.
Anyway, I've experienced no additional load with my WACOM. Once I went to 1GB Painter saved sweetly and brushes flowed cleanly.
Peace, Love and Harmony... I could never get them all into bed at the same time!![]()
