    Nice pic.
About the rendering itself, nothing to say, you caught it pretty well.
Maybe the eyes could use some effects on 'em.
But, besides that, look a bit more on the anatomy.
    Anyway, good work

Hey everyone, im pretty busy with school work, but still find time to experiment

Here is a piece i wanted to be scary/freaky, she found a wierd creature which now controls her through the hose that goes in to her stomach. So i wanted that horror grin. Kinda happy with the coloring, got lazy at the end but im satisfied.

Love your enviroments! Keep doing your human anatomy studies... you're weaker in that respect that your enviro-studies IMO... Don't stop feeding us the enviros, though... they rock!

    Keep 'em coming!

First a study of a mattepainting by DUSSO, about 40 min, i try to limit myself with time, makes me work harder somehow.

And this is a study of a girl from the wonderful painting (Min Hobby) by Gustav Oskar Bjorck, 45 min

And lastly a figure study with photoref, only digital. 40 min

Recursive_End: Thank you my friend! And a happy birthday to you too!!

dCepT : Thanks man, always nice with straight comments, it really helps, thanks for the kind words

Here are some studies from my little black book a.k.a. "Life Book".
All are done with my unforgiving steadtler 1.0 fineliner so i could'nt focus on to much detail. Took pictures from the net and redrew them and it took about 15-20 minutes on each, these were the best ones.

    Nothing fancy, just some sketches.
First out a "Metal Slug" inspired car, som ref here and there.
Then a nice half-mech head on a little rocket.
Then a insane man who with the small part of sanity that he has got left tries to fly away.
And some crow sketches for the previous illustration.

And then my teacher in illustration has forced us to do a "manga" piece so here are som sketches.

First two heads i did because the one with the apple was not "manga" enough... Argh i hate this assignment

Very good. You're practicing alot, and i can already see some imprevement.
Your shading looks good, but try to many layer of them. Do a first one, very dark. Them gradually go to the lights. Also, hatch in two different ways, make the shade more consistant.
Also, give a bit of "rythm" to your lines. Make it pop out in dark areas, and hardly noticeable on highlighted places.
Your getting the hand on cool ideas, and those enviros looks great.
    Keep posting !!!!!!!

    Its that time again

    First out 2 sketches.
First a old man who can still be handy thanks to technology and a little girl out fishing with her freind.

And a little environment from something i roamed around in in my dream, kinda pleased with this one.

And lastly something different from me, a vector picture of the cast for my musicvideo that i presented för my multimedia class, it was created in Flash 8 for the jazzgroup "Soil & Pimp Sessions".

Recursive_End: Thanks as always, great hints you give me

    nice stuff
i really like the hyper quick spped enviros (like the ones in post 89) i should do some to but i just don't have time to sit and concentrate on some digi painting!
strangely enought, i prefer the first version of the crow (the white bg one) to the finished version...

jeez, "lazy" is the wrong nickname! keep on working!

    ciao

So of course my style wasnt manga enough, but i think this will pass, tried coloring it once but didnt like, will give it another go soon.

    Now some pencils!!
    Two wierd original characters

    The Old Senile Warrior Fool!
    The Fat Little Mobster!

I know the proportions on the old man are pretty off, but thats the point, wanted it to be stupid.

DireZen : Thanks!, thank you for calling my stuff creative.

tensai : Thank you very much, expect more speedpaints to show up here!.

MorteM : Hey babe! Thanks, oh there will be more!

Recursive_End : Thanks for the comment as usual, luckily i just finished some pencil sketches!
